Pride Club meeting~ Thursday in Mr. Antesberger’s room. Attention 8th Grade families~The Euclid yearbook is accepting 8th grade dedication ads through January 10. However, the cost is discounted through December 1! Families may choose a ⅛-page or ¼-page ad. Please use the attached flyer for instructions about designing your ad with a personalized message and photo(s). Please note: There is a separate cost to purchase the yearbook. That can be done in Parent Portal/Fees/Optional Fees or by calling Jill Kelley in our office. Chess Tournament~Join us for the K-8 Chess Tournament on December 7, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Newton Middle School! Open to all skill levels from grades K-8, this tournament offers a perfect opportunity for young players to showcase their talent and strategy in a friendly competition. If you wish to register, you can find the QR code at the circulation desk in the library. Don’t wait— registration closes once 250 people have signed up. Don't miss your chance to participate in a day filled with challenge, fun, and intellectual growth! Attention ALL 8th Grade Boys~Your basketball season is fast approaching. Our first practices are Wednesday, December the 4th, Monday, December 9th, Tuesday, December 10th and Tuesday, December 17th after school in the gym from 3:30-4:45 with our first game Wednesday December 18th vs Newton. Everyone is welcome and all skill levels encouraged to join! Please bring a water bottle and athletic clothes, including gym shoes. If you have any questions please ask Mr. Tuke (RM 0297) or Mr. Teruel (RM 0296) in the Venture Core hallway. LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL~Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found~Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning~ Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones~ To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch??
