Upcoming Calendar Events: Here are a few highlighted upcoming events: For April 29th
Magic the Gathering/Video Game Club w/Mrs. Sullivan & Mr. Davis~Last Club meeting will be April 29th EMS Student Council~ Is hosting Kindness Week from April 23rd-26th to spread kindness in our school and local community. They will raise funds to support a local non-profit, the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley. Students are hosting Coin Wars during lunch time from the 23rd-26th. Any students and teachers are welcome to bring in any amount of coins to donate to their Core's jar during their lunch. 6th Grade TRACK~6th graders! Come join Coach Guarino and Coach Haskell in the Gym Lobby at 3:45 after school to learn more. Come in comfortable running clothes, running shoes and bring a water bottle. Track will run through April and to the beginning of May on Monday and Wednesday after school (unless there is no school). April 29, May 1 and May 6. YEARBOOK ORDERS~Have you ordered your 2023-2024 Yearbook? They are CURRENTLY STILL for sale! If you aren't sure, check Parent Portal under "Paid Fees" or the lists in the cafeteria. Yearbooks are available on a first come-first-serve basis. The cost of a book is $40 and can be purchased in the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus, on the Fees tab, click on the yellow "Optional Fees" button in the bottom left hand corner to add your yearbook to the cart. Families may also bring cash or check to Mrs. Kelley in the office. Please note that the yearbook is almost sold out, so reserve your book now! Call or email Mrs Kelley (EMS Bookkeeper) at 303-347-7801 - JKelley@lps.k12.co.us with questions about if you've reserved one. LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch?? El Consejo Estudiantil de EMS ~ Organiza la Semana de la Bondad del 23 al 26 de abril para difundir la bondad en nuestra escuela y comunidad local. Recaudaremos fondos para apoyar a una organización sin fines de lucro, La Sociedad Humana de South Platte Valley. Los estudiantes organizarán Coin Wars (Guerra de Monedas) durante la hora del almuerzo del 23 al 26.
