Student Council: Student Council will have an ALL member meeting Tuesday, Nov. 30th at 8am in Ms. Howard's room (1297). Please email Ms. Howard or Miss Brisse if you will not be able to attend.
Battle of the Books ... It's not too late to sign up to compete in the Euclid Middle School Battle of the Books. The competition isn't until May! If you are curious, swing by the library to get an information sheet or log into the Battle of the Books webpage to see a list of books, get information, and to sign up. 8th grade Boys Basketball-Who watched opening night of men's college basketball? It should have gotten you hyped for your 8th grade boys basketball season! If you are interested in playing basketball this year for Euclid, our first practice is Thursday, December 9th at 4:00pm after school in the gym. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to come out and play. Remember to bring athletic shoes, shorts and a water bottle. More information about practice schedule and games will be given out at the first practice. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Tuke in the Venture Core Hallway RM 0297!
Yearbook ... Hey Euclid! The yearbook staff needs your help. We need you to send us your pictures of the fun things you did this summer. They can be vacation photos or photos enjoying our amazing state. So, if you want to- please email the pictures to Mrs. Milstead (the yearbook teacher/librarian). Her email is jmilstead@lps.k12.co.us.
Library & Learning Center morning hours: The library will be limited to hosting 80 students each morning before school. When you enter the building before school, please stop at Mrs. Rand's desk to get a pass. You will place the pass in the basket labeled "morning passes" when you enter the library. As always, when you enter, you need to remain until the first bell at 8:45 (9:45 on Wednesdays).
Lost & Found - If you are missing lunch boxes, jackets, and water bottles, check out the Lost and Found Bin on the stage in the cafeteria
Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.
Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.

Baloncesto masculino de octavo grado: ¿Quién vio la primera noche del baloncesto universitario masculino? ¡Debería haberte emocionado por tu temporada de baloncesto masculino de octavo grado! Si está interesado en jugar baloncesto este año para Euclid, nuestra primera práctica es el jueves 9 de diciembre a las 4:00 pm después de la escuela en el gimnasio. Todos los niveles de habilidad son bienvenidos y se les anima a jugar. Recuerde traer zapatos deportivos, pantalones cortos y una botella de agua. Teléfonos Celulares: Para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje enfocado, la política de no usar teléfonos celulares continuará en Euclid. Les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan teléfonos celulares a la escuela o, si lo hacen, deben permanecer apagados y en los lockers de los estudiantes durante el día. Si necesitas comunicarte con alguien, estaremos felices de ayudarte en la oficina principal.
