7th Grade~ Attention 7th grade boys basketball players. Practice begins BEFORE school -7:05am- when we come back from break on January 9. Meet in the gym, be ready to play. See Mr. Borel or Ms. Guarino this week for a season schedule! ADVANCED ACTING WORKSHOP Audition Notice!! Were you in the fall musical? Do you have acting experience? Would you like to strengthen your skills on the stage? In an advanced acting workshop, we will play acting games, learn acting techniques and apply the skills we learn together to create a workshop performance. This workshop will focus on traditional theatre and will not include singing and choreography. You will learn modern and traditional techniques and theatre styles like Black Box theatre and Theatre In the Round. You will also have the opportunity for leadership in the program to earn Falcon Feather #7!- See Mrs. Neufeld for details. Auditions will be held on the stage January 17 and 18. In order to audition, please prepare a 30-60 second monologue. The workshop runs from January to March after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays with a workshop performance March 18th and 20th. Pick up an audition packet in room 2122- Mrs. Neufeld's Room- for more info! Attention ALL 8th Grade Boys~ Our practices are after school in the gym from 3:30-4:45. Everyone is welcome and all skill levels encouraged to join! Please bring a water bottle and athletic clothes, including gym shoes. If you have any questions please ask Mr. Tuke (RM 0297) or Mr. Walter (RM 0292) in the Venture Core hallway. LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch?? 7mo grado ~ Atención, jugadores de baloncesto masculinos de 7mo grado. Las prácticas comienzan ANTES de la escuela -7:05 am- cuando regresemos de las vacaciones el 9 de enero. Reúnase en el gimnasio, prepárese para jugar. ¡Vea al Sr. Borel o a la Sra. Guarino esta semana para conocer el calendario de la temporada! TALLER DE ACTUACIÓN AVANZADA ¡¡Aviso de audición!! ¿Estuviste en el musical de otoño? ¿Tienes experiencia en actuación? ¿Te gustaría fortalecer tus habilidades en el escenario? Este es un taller de actuación avanzado, jugaremos juegos de actuación, aprenderemos técnicas de actuación y aplicaremos las habilidades que aprendemos juntos para crear una actuación del taller. Este taller se centrará en el teatro tradicional y no incluirá canto ni coreografía. Aprenderemos técnicas y estilos teatrales modernos y tradicionales, como el teatro Black Box y el teatro In the Round. ¡También tendrán la oportunidad de liderar el programa para ganar la Pluma de Halcón #7!
