Upcoming Calendar Events: Here are a few highlighted upcoming events: For October 2nd
Pride Club~ Is meeting Wednesday October 4th after school in the 8th grade downstairs double classroom. All are welcome! Wrestling~All Grades-Wrestling is starting on Monday Oct 2nd. Weekly we will meet after school in the wrestling room from 3:45-4:45 with Coach Flynn and Mr. Haskell. Wrestling is available to all grades, and is a co-ed sport. No experience is required. If you have any question contact Mr. Haskell @ phaskell@lps.k12.co.us 8th Grade girls basketball players~Do you like dribbling, shooting, or passing a basketball? Then you’re in luck- 8th grade girls basketball is starting soon! The first practice will be on Wednesday, October 4th at 3:30 in the gym and will end at 4:45. You will be given a schedule and more information on the season at that time. We are looking for team players of any skill level that want to compete, improve, and have fun! If you have any questions, please see Coach Menzor in room 2114 (Mt. Antero) or Coach Blankenship in the library. All Grades~Do you like games? Do you like games with a little bit of magic? Better yet, do you like competing with others and seeing who will reign supreme? Then we have the answer for you! We are reigniting a club based around a card game called, "Magic the Gathering." It is a card game, similar to Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, but has battle cards like Dungeon and Dragons. If you are new, there will be ways to learn and basic decks will be provided to use. Or do you enjoy playing video games or want to learn more about them? Do you want to join a community of people who enjoy creating their own world or setting off on adventures of your own choosing? Do you want to learn more about coding your own games and 3D printing? Come see what magic awaits you every Monday starting on October 2nd from 3:40 to 4:45 in the library. See Mrs. Sullivan and Mr. Davis if you have any questions. All Grades~It’s STRIDE time! The LPS Foundation is hosting the 28th annual Stride on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Littleton Museum, and your whole family is invited! This fall tradition includes a 5K, 10K, Kids Fun Run, and Wellness Expo and raises money to support health and wellness at LPS schools. Last year, Euclid won for demonstrating the most spirit! We won the school $1,000! Let's do it again! We could also win an additional $1,000 for highest participation. This year's theme is the fall festival. So get registered for the Stride, ask you parents, grandparents, siblings to also register. Then join us the morning of the Stride at the Euclid tent dressed in camo, fall colors or any of your favorite fall foliage or costume. Register now to take advantage of The Stride Back to School Sale. Lion King Jr~Tech crew for the musical begins today! Meet Ms. Kristen at the stage door (near the gym and the athletic entrance). LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. Proximos Eventos A continuación, se encontrarán algunos de los próximos eventos destacados para el 2 de octubre
Lucha libre ~ Todos los grados: La lucha libre comenzará el lunes 2 de octubre. Semanalmente nos reunimos después de clases en la sala de lucha libre de 3:45 a 4:45 pm con el entrenador Flynn y el Sr. Haskell. La lucha libre está disponible para todos los grados y es un deporte mixto. No se requiere experiencia para participar.
