Library & Learning Center morning hours: The library will be limited to hosting 80 students each morning before school. When you enter the building before school, please stop at Mrs. Rand's desk to get a pass. You will place the pass in the basket labeled "morning passes" when you enter the library. As always, when you enter, you need to remain until the first bell at 8:45 (9:45 on Wednesdays).
NJHS: NJHS will hold an optional service meeting after school Thursday from 4-5:05 in the Double Classroom. If you were not able to attend our first meeting last week, please see Mrs. Milstead or Mrs. Lunn for info.
8th Grade girls basketball players- Do you like competition, being active, or having fun? Do you like dribbling, shooting, or passing a basketball? Then you’re in luck- 8th grade girls basketball is starting soon! The first practice will be on October 19th at 4:00 in the gym. Practice will end at 5:00, and you will be given a schedule and more information on the season then. We are looking for team players of any skill level that want to compete, improve, and have fun! If you have any questions, please see Mr. Meier in room 0292 or Ms. Menzor in room 1121.
“Be Real" Challenge!-Just a quick reminder that next week we are starting our October "Be Real" Challenge! If the whole school earns 350 PBIS notes by the end of October, everybody will earn a fun period during a Core Plus!! The Core that earns the MOST notes will win donuts! Next week, you can earn a Be Real note for any value, but the focus for the week will be Responsibility. Get those notes, and keep an eye on the bulletin board thermometer by Student Services to see our progress toward our goal.
Attention 7th Grade Girls Basketball Players! 7th Grade Girls Basketball starts soon. Our first practice will be in the gym, right after school at 3:55 starting October 5th. Practice will end by 5:05. All abilities are welcome to come and learn the game of basketball, practice and improve their skills and compete against the other middle schools . If you are a team player, willing to learn new skills and have a positive attitude, WE WANT YOU! If you have any questions, Mrs. Fidler in the gym and Mr. Tuke in RM 0297 (Venture Core Hallway) would be happy to help!
Lost & Found - If you are missing lunch boxes, jackets, and water bottles, check out the Lost and Found Bin on the stage in the cafeteria
All Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade- If you need some extra help with your homework, or are struggling with a concept you are learning in class, come to the library Wednesday Sept. 22nd with Mr. Haskell. All students working on all subject areas are welcome! Will be Monday & Wednesday for the next 2 weeks 9/22 and ending 10/7.
Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.
Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.
