Student Information 

Parent/Teacher Conferences -Parent Teacher Conferences are this week. Please join your parents for your conference when meeting with your teachers. Due to conferences, there is no school on Thursday and Friday this week. 

 

Reminder – There are NO after school activities or sports and the library is closed after school Wednesday October 13. There also will not be any late busses on Wednesday October 13 due to conferences.

 

Littleton Stride: The Stride is back! Come to this fun community event on Sunday, October 24th, where you can race or stroll a 5 or 10k with your friends and family, and get free swag! Or, you can Stride Your Way as a virtual participant. Be sure to register at runthestride.com by October 19th to get early packet pickup, which includes your Stride t-shirt. Euclid always has a strong presence at this event, which helps us win $1,000!

The Technology Student Association (TSA Club)- will be starting on Tuesday, October 19th after school from 4:00-5:05 PM in the STEM Presentation Room, 1842!  We will then meet every Tuesday until our State Competition in February.  Come learn about our State Conference at the Denver Tech Center Marriott hotel and our National Conference in Dallas Texas!  All future TSA students must attend this mandatory meeting!  See Mr. Biddulph for more information or go to tinyurl.com/EuclidTSA

 

The October Be REAL Challenge continues! Last week's focus for Be REAL was Responsibility. This week, it's EXCELLENCE! Think back to the survey results you viewed - what does it mean to be excellent? Teachers, as always, be on the lookout for great behavior, but please especially call out excellence this week! The totals from last week are updated on the bulletin board!"

 

Book Fair - The Book Fair continues this week from 8:30 until 5 on Tuesday and 4 on Wednesday. It will also be open during Parent Teacher Conferences. There are many ways to win!

- Turn in a book review to Mrs. Milstead and be entered into a drawing.

- Everyone who makes a purchase receives a ticket to guess how many Starbursts are in the jar. The winner gets the jar! Ties will split the winnings

 

NJHS - NJHS members who have signed up to be Conference Ambassadors should report to the library 5 minutes before their assigned time. If you were absent at our last meeting, you can still sign up! Check out our NJHS Google Classroom for details.

Veterans Day Ceremony:

  • Calling all falcon boy scouts, girls scouts and young leaders in uniform.  NJHS needs you to present the colors at Euclid's Veterans' Day Ceremony on November 11th.  If you are interested please see the sign up in your Core Plus Google Classroom!

  • Attention Spanish speakers, NJHS is seeking confident falcon leaders who would be willing to translate during the Veterans Day ceremony.  If you are interested please see the sign up in your Core Plus Google Classroom!

6th Grade Party: Thank you to our PTO and 6th grade teachers, we will be having a 6th grade only Fall Festival party on Wednesday, October 20th right after school until 5:05. We are excited for our students to participate in a school sponsored social event that includes games and fun. Weather permitting, the event will be outside. We will have a 7th grade party in November and 8th grade and All School Parties in the spring.

 

7th Grade Girls Basketball practices-The next three 7th Grade Girls Basketball practices are Oct 12th Morning 7:45 am, Oct 18th Afternoon 4:00 pm and Oct 19th Morning at 7:45 am.

Library & Learning Center morning hours: The library will be limited to hosting 80 students each morning before school. When you enter the building before school, please stop at Mrs. Rand's desk to get a pass. You will place the pass in the basket labeled "morning passes" when you enter the library. As always, when you enter, you need to remain until the first bell at 8:45 (9:45 on Wednesdays).

 

Lost & Found - If you are missing lunch boxes, jackets, and water bottles, check out the Lost and Found Bin on the stage in the cafeteria

 

Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.

 

Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.
