NO AFTER SCHOOL BUSES OR ACTIVITIES, THURSDAY, DECEMBER 16TH. Magic the Gathering- Will be on Wednesday, December 15th, 3:55-5:05. NJHS Canned Food Drive- NJHS members who have signed up to help count cans and load them into a car should come to the library after school today (Wednesday, 12/15). Thanks for all the help!
Homework Club-All Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade- If you need some extra help with your homework, or are struggling with a concept you are learning in class, come to the library Monday-Wednesday with Mr. Haskell. All students working on all subject areas are welcome! Holiday Happenings- Mark your calendar: Students and staff wear your holiday gear on Wednesday, December 15th! Thanks to our PTO, students will also have prize giveaways at the holiday lunch on that day as well Lost and Found-Are you missing water bottles, hoodies, lunch boxes or jackets? They might be in our Lost and Found. Please check for items during lunch time - we have quite a collection. Also, a friendly reminder to put names on items for help in getting them returned. Items will be donated or disposed of prior to winter break. If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, a logitech mouse and headphones, beats. keys or glasses/sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them.
8th grade Boys Basketball-Attention all ballers and shot callers, the time has come to dribble your way to the tournament of champions! The first few practices are during the next two weeks. No experience necessary and everyone is welcome to come play and learn the game of basketball. Practice will be held in the gym. Please wear appropriate clothing, shoes and bring a water bottle. You will receive more information about practices and games during our first practice Thursday, December 9th @ 4:00 in the gym after school. Practices the following week are Monday morning December 13th @ 7:45 and Wednesday, December 15th after school at 4:00. See you in the Gym on Thursday after school!
NJHS Food Drive- Bring your non-perishable donations to the cafeteria and vote for the staff member you'd most like to see appear in costume. Our donations support the Backpack Society. See the poster outside the library or get a flier of needed items from your Core + teacher.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS-There will be a Battle of the Books meeting on Thursday, December 16 during Core + for all grades. . It's not too late to sign up to compete in the Euclid Middle School Battle of the Books. The competition isn't until May! If you are curious, swing by the library to get an information sheet or log into the Battle of the Books webpage to see a list of books, get information, and to sign up. Soccer Club - There will be no more soccer club for the rest of the semester. We will start playing again as early as possible in the spring next semester!
Library & Learning Center morning hours: The library will be limited to hosting 80 students each morning before school. When you enter the building before school, please stop at Mrs. Rand's desk to get a pass. You will place the pass in the basket labeled "morning passes" when you enter the library. As always, when you enter, you need to remain until the first bell at 8:45 (9:45 on Wednesdays).
Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.
Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.

Club de Ayuda para Tareas - Todos los estudiantes en sexto, séptimo y octavo grado - Si necesitas un poco ayuda extra con su tarea, o estás teniendo dificultad con un concepto que estás aprendiendo en clase, ven a la biblioteca Lunes-Miércoles con Sr. Haskell. Todos los estudiantes que están trabajando en cualquiera área temática son bienvenidos. Día festivo de Euclid - Estudiantes, apunte en su agenda - ¡Lleva puesto su ropa festiva el miércoles 15 de diciembre! Gracias a nuestra Organización de Padres y Maestros (PTO), habrá un sorteo de premios para los estudiantes durante el almuerzo festivo de ese día. Objetos perdidos- ¿Le faltan botellas de agua, sudaderas, loncheras o chaquetas? Pueden estar en nuestro Recipiente de objetos perdidos. Por favor haga que su estudiante revise los artículos durante el almuerzo. Además, queríamos darle un recordatorio amistoso para que ponga los nombres de su estudiante en los artículos - eso nos ayudará a devolver las cosas que pierden u olvidan. Los artículos serán donados o desechados antes de las vacaciones de invierno. Si ha perdido air pods/el estuche para los air pods, joyería, carteras, un mouse logitech y auriculares, beats, llaves o anteojos / anteojos de sol, venga al escritorio de la Sra. Rand en la oficina de asistencia para ver si los tenemos.
Baloncesto de masculino de octavo grado: atención a todos los jugadores del octavo grado, ¡ha llegado el momento de driblar hacia el torneo de campeones! Los primeros entrenamientos serán durante las próximas dos semanas. No se necesita experiencia y todos son bienvenidos a jugar y aprender cómo jugar baloncesto. Los entrenamientos se llevarán a cabo en el gimnasio. Por favor use ropa y zapatos apropiados y traiga una botella de agua. Recibirá más información sobre los entrenamientos y partidos durante nuestro primer entrenamiento, el jueves 9 de diciembre a las 4:00 en el gimnasio después de la escuela. LA BATALLA DE LOS LIBROS: Habrá una reunión de la Batalla de los Libros el jueves 16 de diciembre durante la clase de Core Plus para todos los grados. Club de fútbol: no nos reuniremos más este semestre, pero empezaremos a jugar de nuevo lo antes posible el próximo semestre en la primavera!
Horario de la Biblioteca y Centro de Aprendizaje por la mañana: Habrá un límite de 80 estudiantes en la biblioteca cada mañana antes de la escuela. Cuando ingrese al edificio antes de la escuela, vaya al escritorio de la Sra. Rand para obtener un pase. Colocará el pase en la canasta con la etiqueta "morning passes" cuando ingrese a la biblioteca. Como siempre, cuando ingrese, debe permanecer hasta la primera campana a las 8:45 (9:45 los miércoles)
Entrar al Edificio por la Mañana: Los estudiantes pueden entrar por la entrada de la cafetería a las 8:30 AM, o por la entrada principal, la entrada de la cafetería y la entrada de 7mo grado a las 8:45 AM.
Teléfonos Celulares: Para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje enfocado, la política de no usar teléfonos celulares continuará en Euclid. Les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan teléfonos celulares a la escuela o, si lo hacen, deben permanecer apagados y en los lockers de los estudiantes durante el día. Si necesitas comunicarte con alguien, estaremos felices de ayudarte en la oficina principal.
