Holiday Happenings - Mark your calendar: Students and staff wear your holiday gear on Wednesday, December 15th! Thanks to our PTO, students will also have prize giveaways at the holiday lunch on that day as well.
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS-There will be a Battle of the Books meeting on Thursday, December 16 during Core + for all grades. . It's not too late to sign up to compete in the Euclid Middle School Battle of the Books. The competition isn't until May! If you are curious, swing by the library to get an information sheet or log into the Battle of the Books webpage to see a list of books, get information, and to sign up. BATTLE OF THE BOOK LEADERS-7th and 8th graders who have signed up to write questions for the elementary school Battle of the Books competition will meet during Core + on Thursday, December 9. If you haven't signed up but are interested, talk to Mrs. Milstead in the library.
Soccer Club - There will be no more soccer club for the rest of the semester. We will start playing again as early as possible in the spring next semester!
8th grade Boys Basketball-Who watched opening night of men's college basketball? It should have gotten you hyped for your 8th grade boys basketball season! If you are interested in playing basketball this year for Euclid, our first practice is Thursday, December 9th at 4:00pm after school in the gym. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged to come out and play. Remember to bring athletic shoes, shorts and a water bottle. More information about practice schedule and games will be given out at the first practice. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Tuke in the Venture Core Hallway RM 0297!
Library & Learning Center morning hours: The library will be limited to hosting 80 students each morning before school. When you enter the building before school, please stop at Mrs. Rand's desk to get a pass. You will place the pass in the basket labeled "morning passes" when you enter the library. As always, when you enter, you need to remain until the first bell at 8:45 (9:45 on Wednesdays).
Lost & Found - If you are missing lunch boxes, jackets, and water bottles, check out the Lost and Found Bin on the stage in the cafeteria
Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.
Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.

Día festivo de Euclid - Estudiantes, apunte en su agenda - ¡Lleva puesto su ropa festiva el miércoles 15 de diciembre! Gracias a nuestra Organización de Padres y Maestros (PTO), habrá un sorteo de premios para los estudiantes durante el almuerzo festivo de ese día.
LA BATALLA DE LOS LIBROS: Habrá una reunión de la Batalla de los Libros el jueves 16 de diciembre durante la clase de Core Plus para todos los grados. No es demasiado tarde para inscribirse para participar en la batalla de los libros de la escuela secundaria Euclid. ¡La competencia no comienza hasta mayo! Si tiene curiosidad, pase por la biblioteca para obtener una hoja de información, o inicie una sesión en la página web La Batalla de los Libros para ver una lista de los libros, obtener información y registrarse. LÍDERES PARA LA BATALLA DE LOS LIBROS: los estudiantes de 7º y 8º grado que se hayan inscrito para escribir preguntas para la competencia de la Batalla de los Libros de la escuela primaria se reunirán durante Core + el jueves 9 de diciembre. Si no se inscribió pero está interesado en participar, hable con la Sra. Milstead en la biblioteca.
Club de fútbol: no nos reuniremos más este semestre, pero empezaremos a jugar de nuevo lo antes posible el próximo semestre en la primavera!
Baloncesto masculino de octavo grado: ¿Quién vio la primera noche del baloncesto universitario masculino? ¡Debería haberte emocionado por tu temporada de baloncesto masculino de octavo grado! Si está interesado en jugar baloncesto este año para Euclid, nuestra primera práctica es el jueves 9 de diciembre a las 4:00 pm después de la escuela en el gimnasio. Todos los niveles de habilidad son bienvenidos y se les anima a jugar. Recuerde traer zapatos deportivos, pantalones cortos y una botella de agua. Te dará más información sobre el horario de práctica y los juegos en la primera práctica. Si tiene alguna pregunta, comuníquese con el Sr. Tuke en pasillo de Venture Core, sala 0297.
Horario de la Biblioteca y Centro de Aprendizaje por la mañana: Habrá un límite de 80 estudiantes en la biblioteca cada mañana antes de la escuela. Cuando ingrese al edificio antes de la escuela, vaya al escritorio de la Sra. Rand para obtener un pase. Colocará el pase en la canasta con la etiqueta "morning passes" cuando ingrese a la biblioteca. Como siempre, cuando ingrese, debe permanecer hasta la primera campana a las 8:45 (9:45 los miércoles)
Objetos Perdidos- Si le faltan loncheras, chaquetas y botellas de agua, consulte el Recipiente de Objetos Perdidos en el escenario de la cafetería.
Entrar al Edificio por la Mañana: Los estudiantes pueden entrar por la entrada de la cafetería a las 8:30 AM, o por la entrada principal, la entrada de la cafetería y la entrada de 7mo grado a las 8:45 AM.
Teléfonos Celulares: Para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje enfocado, la política de no usar teléfonos celulares continuará en Euclid. Les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan teléfonos celulares a la escuela o, si lo hacen, deben permanecer apagados y en los lockers de los estudiantes durante el día. Si necesitas comunicarte con alguien, estaremos felices de ayudarte en la oficina principal.
