Student Information 

NO SCHOOL MONDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2022~PRESIDENTS’ DAY

 

8th grade girl Volleyball Players- Volleyball try-outs will be this Friday morning, 2/18/22, at 7:45-8:45 a.m in the gym! This Friday you will get a schedule of practices and games as well as learn about this coming season. We are looking for team players with any skill level who want to compete, improve, and have fun. Please see Miss Menzor (1211) if you have any questions!

 

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BATTLE OF THE BOOKS- There will be an after school meeting on Thursday, March 3rd  in the LLC. This is for 7th and 8th graders who have been participating and those who would like to begin participating. See Mrs. Milstead in the library with questions.

 

NJHS Applicants- If you received an invitation to apply to NJHS the applications are due to Student Services by Friday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. No applications will be accepted late. Make sure you complete all parts and have a parent or guardian sign.

 

NJHS-Attention NJHS members. Please check our Google Classroom for some important announcements. We have some opportunities coming up that you might be interested in helping with.

 

Yearbook-Have you purchased a 2021-2022 EMS Yearbook? Check the lists in the library and cafeteria (on the front windows) to see if you have purchased a yearbook. If you haven't, you should buy one now! Yearbooks are $35 and you can purchase one on the parental portal in IC or by bringing cash or check made out to Euclid Middle School to the main office. Reserve your book now! We usually sell out if you wait until yearbook day in May!

 

Homework Club-

All Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade- If you need some extra help with your homework, or are struggling with a concept you are learning in class, come to the library Mondays and Wednesdays starting Jan 26th with Mr. Haskell. All students working on all subject areas are welcome!

 

8th graders-

 

Arapahoe High School is registering incoming freshmen Wednesday, February 22nd at 6:30  in the theater.   

 

Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, a logitech mouse and headphones, beats. keys or glasses/sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them.

Library & Learning Center morning hours: The library will be limited to hosting 80 students each morning before school. When you enter the building before school, please stop at Mrs. Rand's desk to get a pass. You will place the pass in the basket labeled "morning passes" when you enter the library. As always, when you enter, you need to remain until the first bell at 8:45 (9:45 on Wednesdays).

 

Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.

 

Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.
