Upcoming Calendar Events: Here are a few highlighted upcoming events:
Pride Club: Come join us for our first Pride Club meeting on Thursday the 15th, after school in the Quest hall double classroom from 4-5. Pride club is a safe place for students to gather to discuss issues related to the LGTBQ+ community, support one another and socialize. You do not need to identify as LGTBQ to attend, all are welcome!
Student Council: We will have an ALL members meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 8am in the Double Classroom. Please email Miss Brisse, Mr. Meier, or our president, Mia Hill, if you cannot attend. Be ready to finalize our recruitment process!
ONE BOOK, ONE SCHOOL ... This week's activities include: - Save Elvis: Will the PAG save Elvis? You'll find out as you read Slacker. In the meantime, if you find a mini-beaver throughout the school, bring it to the library for a treat. - Tic-Tac-Toe: Your Core + teacher has a Tic-Tac-Toe that you can complete during the next few weeks. Choose 3 activities that are in a line (vertical, horizontal or diagonally) and bring your completed tic-tac-toe to the library. - Trivia: Stop by the library to answer a trivia question. We will draw from the entries for a prize. Check back as new trivia questions will be introduced every few days.
Soccer Club - All students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade - If you would like to play some soccer, meet us in the Gym Lobby starting on Tuesday September 20 after school to play! There is a cost of $20 for the Activities Fee that is good for all clubs for the year. We will play each Tuesday after school from 4:00-5:05 on the grass field. Please see Ms Guarino in room 1121 for more information.
LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Starting Monday, students may visit the library before school, starting with the 8:30 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 8:30-8:40, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:45 a.m. bell
6th Graders - 6th grade coed volleyball, after school in the Gym! Everyone is welcome to come out and have some fun playing Volleyball with Mr. Haskell and Ms. Kelley! See the 6th grade teachers for a flier!! Dates we will be playing are Tuesday Sept. 13th, Wednesday Sept.14th, Wednesday Sept. 21st
Student Council: Attention ALL grade levels! It's that time of year again. Student Council is looking for students that want to make Euclid, and our falcon community, an even better place. Keep a lookout for more information about how to apply. Please email Miss Brisse or Mr. Meier if you have any questions.
Euclid Fall Play: A Wrinkle in Time is starting soon! Applications for auditions and tech crew available now in Mrs.Neufeld’s room: 2122 or Mrs. Alexander’s room: the choir room. Tech crew applications are due Wednesday, 9/7. First tech crew meeting is after school on 9/7 on the stage. Auditions are Monday, 9/19 and Tuesday, 9/20 with callbacks Wednesday, 9/21. Stop by and pick up an application today! It’s going to be a great show!
Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, a logitech mouse and headphones, beats. keys or glasses/sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.
Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.
