Library Scavenger Hunt: Congratulations to the following 6th graders who won the library scavenger hunt drawing. Students should come to the library to collect their prizes. ONE BOOK, ONE SCHOOL ... This week's activities include: - Save Elvis: Will the PAG save Elvis? You'll find out as you read Slacker. In the meantime, if you find a mini-beaver throughout the school, bring it to the library for a treat. - Tic-Tac-Toe: Your Core + teacher has a Tic-Tac-Toe that you can complete during the next few weeks. Choose 3 activities that are in a line (vertical, horizontal or diagonally) and bring your completed tic-tac-toe to the library. - Trivia: Stop by the library to answer a trivia question. We will draw from the entries for a prize. Check back as new trivia questions will be introduced every few days.
Student Council: We will have an ALL members meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 8am in the Double Classroom. Please email Miss Brisse, Mr. Meier, or our president, Mia Hill, if you cannot attend. Be ready to finalize our recruitment process!
WEB LEADERS!!!! We would love for you to join the 6th grade party next Thursday from 4-5 to help out with games and play kickball against the 6th graders. Please sign up in the counseling office if you can join.
Soccer Club - All students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade - If you would like to play some soccer, meet us in the Gym Lobby starting on Tuesday September 20 after school to play! There is a cost of $20 for the Activities Fee that is good for all clubs for the year. We will play each Tuesday after school from 4:00-5:05 on the grass field. Please see Ms Guarino in room 1121 for more information.
STUDENT STORE: The Student Store will be open this Thursday during lunches in the Cafeteria. Check it out!
LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Starting Monday, students may visit the library before school, starting with the 8:30 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 8:30-8:40, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:45 a.m. bell
6th Graders - 6th grade coed volleyball, after school in the Gym! Everyone is welcome to come out and have some fun playing Volleyball with Mr. Haskell and Ms. Kelley! See the 6th grade teachers for a flier!! Dates we will be playing are Tuesday Sept. 13th, Wednesday Sept.14th, Wednesday Sept. 21st
Student Council: Attention ALL grade levels! It's that time of year again. Student Council is looking for students that want to make Euclid, and our falcon community, an even better place. Calling Bass, Guitar, and Piano Players! Do you play bass guitar, electric guitar, or piano? Our jazz band needs YOU! The Euclid Jazz Band is an awesome group of musicians and we need awesome musicians in our rhythm section! Please come see Mr. Holcombe in the band room for more information - we will start meeting in two weeks!
Euclid Fall Play: A Wrinkle in Time is starting soon! Applications for auditions and tech crew available now in Mrs.Neufeld’s room: 2122 or Mrs. Alexander’s room: the choir room. Tech crew applications are due Wednesday, 9/7. First tech crew meeting is after school on 9/7 on the stage. Auditions are Monday, 9/19 and Tuesday, 9/20 with callbacks Wednesday, 9/21. Stop by and pick up an application today! It’s going to be a great show!
Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, a logitech mouse and headphones, beats. keys or glasses/sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 8:30 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:45.
Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.

8º grado: Atención estudiantes que les gusta correr, saltar y lanzar - El atletismo de 8º grado comienza el lunes 29 de agosto de 4:00-5:05 en el campo de césped artificial. Objetos perdidos - si has perdido cápsulas/estuches de aire, joyas, billeteras, un mouse y auriculares Logitech, latidos. llaves o anteojos/anteojos de sol, pase por el escritorio de la Sra. Rand en la oficina de asistencia para ver si los tenemos.
Entrar al Edificio por la Mañana: Los estudiantes pueden entrar por la entrada de la cafetería a las 8:30 AM, o por la entrada principal, la entrada de la cafetería y la entrada de 7mo grado a las 8:45 AM.
Teléfonos Celulares: Para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje enfocado, la política de no usar teléfonos celulares continuará en Euclid. Les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan teléfonos celulares a la escuela o, si lo hacen, deben permanecer apagados y en los lockers de los estudiantes durante el día. Si necesitas comunicarte con alguien, estaremos felices de ayudarte en la oficina principal.
