Upcoming Calendar Events: Here are a few highlighted upcoming events: For August 29th
Euclid Jazz Band Auditions~Guitar, bass, and piano players needed! If you play guitar, bass, or piano, you should audition for jazz band! Our state-recognized Euclid Jazz Band is an awesome place to learn about great music and make friends. We meet Tuesday and Friday mornings before school. Auditions are on 9/12 or 13 after school - come see Mr. Holcombe in the band room (1370) for audition music, more information, and to sign up! Attention 7th grade boys and girls~ Do you like to run fast, throw far, or jump high? If so, join Track after school on Tuesday September 5th from 3:40-4:45 PM! Coach Biddulph and Coach Andriese will hand out schedules and permission slips at practice on the track. Have a water bottle and be ready to run! Euclid's fall musical~ "Lion King JR," is starting soon, and we'd love to have you join us! All grade levels and experience levels are welcome. Please stop by Mrs. Alexander's room (1366) to pick up an audition packet. All students who audition will be a part of our show. Auditions begin on Monday 8/28 - we can't wait to work with you! Reach out to Mrs. Alexander with any questions at ealexander@lps.k12.co.us with any questions. 6th Grade Co-ed Volleyball~ Everyone is welcome to come out and have some fun playing Volleyball with Mr. Haskell and Ms. Gwyn! Please wear appropriate footwear (No open-toed shoes, Crocs, or slides). Dates we will be playing are Monday Aug 28th Tuesday Aug.29th Wednesday Aug. 30th, Tuesday Sept.5th, And Wednesday Sept. 6th. If there are any additional questions please contact Mr. Haskell at phaskell@lps.k12.co.us LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office.
