Student Council~ Monday, Sept. 11th. ALL current Student Council members will meet at 7:45am in the Downstairs Double Classroom. If you were in StuCo last year, you are invited back! We can't wait to see you again and begin our new year! Bring your coloring supplies for poster making. Please let Miss Brisse or Ms. Onstott know if you will be unable to attend OR are no longer interested in being part of StuCo. (kbrisse@lps.k12.co.us or monstott@lps.k12.co.us) Creative Writing Club - Do you enjoy writing stories, poems, or other types of creative writing? Do you want to join a community of writers to improve your craft? Then join us on Wednesday, September 13th for the first meeting of the Euclid Writing Society! We will meet after school in Mr. Call's room (Discovery hallway, room 2124). Please see Mr. Call or email him (jcall@lps.k12.co.us) if you have any questions. NJHS members~ Current 8th graders who are members of NJHS will have their first meeting on Friday, 9/8 in the Double Classroom. We will start at 7:20 a.m. We will prepare for the induction of new members and begin to plan the year. Again, this is only for 8th graders who were members last year. STUDENT STORE~ The Student Store will be open this Thursday during lunches in the Cafeteria. Check it out! The store accepts cash or coins, you can not use your school lunch account. SPIRIT WEAR WEBSITE COMING SOON!! Watch the Daily Bulletin for the official date next week that the ordering website will be up to take your orders! There will be new & favorite items this year that you can purchase to wear and show your school spirit! Don't miss out, the deadline will be Friday, 9/15/23 Tech crew for our fall musical~ Lion King Jr, starts soon! If you'd like to help with props, costumes, lights, sound, set, and all the other off-stage aspects of theater, crew is the place for you! Pick up an application in Mrs. Alexander's room (1366) and return by the first meeting on 9/11. Euclid Jazz Band Auditions~Guitar, bass, and piano players needed! If you play guitar, bass, or piano, you should audition for jazz band! Our state-recognized Euclid Jazz Band is an awesome place to learn about great music and make friends. We meet Tuesday and Friday mornings before school. Auditions are on 9/12 or 13 after school - come see Mr. Holcombe in the band room (1370) for audition music, more information, and to sign up! 6th Grade Co-ed Basketball~6th grade co-ed Basketball, starts Mon. Sept. 11th after school in the Gym! Everyone is welcome to come out and have some fun playing Basketball with Mr. Haskell and Ms. Blankenship! Please wear appropriate footwear (No open-toed shoes, Crocs, or slides). Dates we will be playing are Monday Sept. 11 Tuesday Sept. 12 Wednesday Sept. 13, Monday Sep 18th Tuesday Sept 19th, Monday Sept. 25th, Tuesday Sept.26th, And Wednesday Sept. 27th. If there are any additional questions please contact Mr. Haskell at phaskell@lps.k12.co.us LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. Consejo Estudiantil ~ Lunes 11 de septiembre. TODOS los miembros actuales del Consejo Estudiantil se reunirán a las 7:45 am en el salón doble de la planta baja.
