Upcoming Calendar Events: Here are a few highlighted upcoming events: For January 18th
Magic the Gathering & Video Game Club~Do you like games? Do you like games with a little bit of magic? Better yet, do you like competing with others and seeing who will reign supreme? Then we have the answer for you! We are reigniting a club based around a card game called, "Magic the Gathering." It is a card game, similar to Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh, but has battle cards like Dungeon and Dragons. If you are new, there will be ways to learn and basic decks will be provided to use. Or do you enjoy playing video games or want to learn more about them? Do you want to join a community of people who enjoy creating their own world or setting off on adventures of your own choosing? Do you want to learn more about coding your own games and 3D printing? Come see what magic awaits you every Monday starting on February 5 from 3:40 to 4:45 in the library. See Mrs. Sullivan and Mr. Davis if you have any questions. LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch?? El Encuentro de magia & El Club de Video Juegos~¿Te gustan los juegos? ¿Te gustan los juegos con un poco de magia? Mejor aún, ¿Te gusta competir con otros y ver quién reinará? ¡Entonces tenemos la respuesta para ti! Estamos reavivando un club basado en un juego de cartas llamado "El Encuentro de Magia". Es un juego de cartas, similar a Pokémon y Yu-Gi-Oh, pero tiene cartas de batalla como Dungeon and Dragons. Si eres nuevo, habrá formas de aprender y se te proporcionarán mazos básicos para usar. ¿O te gusta jugar videojuegos o quieres aprender más sobre ellos? ¿Quieres unirte a una comunidad de personas que disfrutan creando su propio mundo o embarcarse en aventuras de tu propia elección? ¿Quieres aprender más sobre cómo codificar tus propios juegos y la impresión 3D? TELÉFONOS CELULARES: Para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje enfocado, la política de no usar teléfonos celulares continuará en Euclid. Les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan teléfonos celulares a la escuela o, si lo hacen, deben permanecer apagados y en los casilleros durante todo el día.
