SUMMER PHOTOS FOR YEARBOOK~The yearbook staff needs your help. They are creating a feature about summer fun. You are invited to submit photos of your Euclid Falcon enjoying summer activities at home, in Colorado and beyond. Photos can be sent to Jennifer Milstead, the yearbook adviser, at jmilstead@lps.k12.co.us. Please be sure to say where your child is, what they are doing, and who they are. Student Council~ Welcome back everyone! Student Council 8th grade executive board members only, will have their first meeting on Monday 8/19 at 7:45. We will meet in Ms. Onstott's room, 1292. Please bring your chromebooks to the meeting. Attention 7th grade boys and girls: Do you like to run fast, throw far, or jump high? If so, join Track after school on Tuesday August 27th from 3:45-4:45 PM! Coach Biddulph and Coach Andriese will hand out schedules and permission slips at practice on the track. Have a water bottle and be ready to run! Euclid's fall musical, "Addams Family," is starting soon, and we'd love to have you join us! All grade levels and experience levels are welcome. Please stop by Mrs. Alexander's room (1366) to pick up an audition packet. All students who audition will be a part of our show. Auditions begin on Monday 8/26 - we can't wait to work with you! Reach out to Mrs. Alexander with any questions at ealexander@lps.k12.co.us with any questions. 8th Grade~ Attention runners, jumpers and throwers. 8th grade track and field begins on Monday, August 19 at 3:45 on the Track. All skill levels are welcome, bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes. See coach Borel or Coach Onstott with any questions! LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL: THE LIBRARY WILL OPEN ON MONDAY, AUGUST 19th. Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found-Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning: Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones: To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch?? Proximos Eventos A continuación, se encontrarán algunos de los próximos eventos destacados para el 15 de Agosto
8vo Grado~ Atención corredores, saltadores y lanzadores. El atletismo de octavo grado comienza el lunes 19 de agosto a las 3:45 pm en La Pista de Atletismo. Todos los niveles son bienvenidos, trae una botella de agua y calzado cómodo. ¡Consulte al entrenador Borel o a la entrenadora Onstott si tiene alguna pregunta! LA BIBLIOTECA ESTÁ ABIERTA ANTES DE LA ESCUELA: Los estudiantes pueden visitar la biblioteca antes de la escuela, a partir del timbre de las 7:55 am. Los estudiantes deben obtener un pase en la puerta principal entre las 7:55 y las 8:05 am, o hasta que los pases se agoten. Por favor, devuelva el pase a la canasta en el mostrador de circulación y permanezcan hasta el timbre de las 8:10 am. OBJETOS PERDIDOS- Si has perdido cápsulas/estuches de auriculares, joyas, billeteras, mouse de computadora, auriculares Logitech, llaves, lentes o anteojos de sol, pase por el escritorio de la Sra. Rand en la oficina de asistencia para ver si los tenemos. ENTRADA AL EDIFICIO POR LA MAÑANA: Los estudiantes pueden entrar por la entrada de la cafetería a las 7:55 AM, o por la entrada principal, la entrada de la cafetería y la entrada de 7mo grado a las 8:10 AM. TELÉFONOS CELULARES: Para mantener un ambiente de aprendizaje enfocado, la política de no usar teléfonos celulares continuará en Euclid. Les pedimos a los estudiantes que no traigan teléfonos celulares a la escuela o, si lo hacen, deben permanecer apagados y en los casilleros durante todo el día. Si necesita comunicarse con alguien, estaremos felices de ayudarle en la oficina principal.
