NJHS~ NJHS will meet at 7:20 a.m. Friday in the DCR. This meeting is essential as we will organize our food drive. This meeting is replacing the meeting that was scheduled on our snow day last week. Addams Family Musical~ Are you ready to see a musical that's creepy and kooky, mysterious and spooky, and all together ooky? Come see Euclid's production of "The Addams Family!" You won't want to miss this production - around 100 students have been working hard since August to tell the story of what happens when Wednesday Addams invites her normal boyfriend and his family over for dinner. Performances are Thursday 11/14 and Friday 11/15 at 7:00 pm in the Euclid gym. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased with cash or check to Euclid the week of the show or at the door. Email Mrs. Alexander with any questions at ealexander@lps.k12.co.us. Chess Tournament~Join us for the K-8 Chess Tournament on December 7, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Newton Middle School! Open to all skill levels from grades K-8, this tournament offers a perfect opportunity for young players to showcase their talent and strategy in a friendly competition. If you wish to register, you can find the QR code at the circulation desk in the library. Don’t wait— registration closes once 250 people have signed up. Don't miss your chance to participate in a day filled with challenge, fun, and intellectual growth! Attention ALL 8th Grade Boys~ Your basketball season is fast approaching. Our first practices are Wednesday, December the 4th, Monday, December 9th, Tuesday, December 10th and Tuesday, December 17th after school in the gym from 3:30-4:45 with our first game Wednesday December 18th vs Newton. Everyone is welcome and all skill levels encouraged to join! Please bring a water bottle and athletic clothes, including gym shoes. If you have any questions please ask Mr. Tuke (RM 0297) or Mr. Teruel (RM 0296) in the Venture Core hallway. LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL~ Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found~ Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets, watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning~ Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones~ To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch??
