7th Grade~Attention boys basketball players, the first 2 practices of the season are December 11 and 12, 340-445 in the gym. Come ready to play with athletic shoes and a water bottle. See coach Borel or Guarino with questions. The NJHS Food Drive~ Starts Monday, Dec. 2 and ends Thursday, Dec. 12. Take your food items to the stage during lunch and vote for the staff member you'd most like to see in a winter-themed costume the last week before break. You'll also help people in our community! NJHS members -- check your email for reminders about when you've signed up to help collect items on the stage. UPDATE-Attention ALL 8th Grade Boys~Your basketball season is fast approaching. Our first practices are Wednesday, December the 4th, Thursday December 5th, Monday, December 9th, Tuesday, and an exhibition game vs Littleton Academy Tuesday, December 10th. Practices will resume Tuesday, December 17th after school in the gym from 3:30-4:45 with our first regular season game Wednesday December 18th vs Newton. Everyone is welcome and all skill levels encouraged to join! Please bring a water bottle and athletic clothes, including gym shoes. If you have any questions please ask Mr. Tuke (RM 0297) or Mr. Teruel (RM 0296) in the Venture Core hallway. Chess Tournament~Join us for the K-8 Chess Tournament on December 7, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Newton Middle School! Open to all skill levels from grades K-8, this tournament offers a perfect opportunity for young players to showcase their talent and strategy in a friendly competition. If you wish to register, you can find the QR code at the circulation desk in the library. Don’t wait— registration closes once 250 people have signed up. Don't miss your chance to participate in a day filled with challenge, fun, and intellectual growth! Attention 8th Grade families~The Euclid yearbook is accepting 8th grade dedication ads through January 10. However, the cost is discounted through December 1! Families may choose a ⅛-page or ¼-page ad. Please use the attached flyer for instructions about designing your ad with a personalized message and photo(s). Please note: There is a separate cost to purchase the yearbook. That can be done in Parent Portal/Fees/Optional Fees or by calling Jill Kelley in our office. LIBRARY OPEN BEFORE SCHOOL~ Students may visit the library before school, starting with the 7:55 bell. Students must get a pass at the front doors between 7:55-8:05, or until passes run out. Please return the pass to the basket at the circulation desk and remain until the 8:10 a.m. bell. Lost and Found~Lost and Found-If you have lost air pods/cases, jewelry, wallets,watches, headphones, keys, glasses or sunglasses, come by Mrs. Rand's desk in the Attendance office to see if we have them. Entering the building in the morning~ Students can enter the cafeteria entrance at 7:55 AM, or through the main entrance, cafeteria entrance, and 7th-grade entrance at 8:10. Cellphones~To maintain a focused learning environment, the no cellphone policy will continue at Euclid. We ask that students not bring cellphones to school or if they do, they should remain off and in the students’ lockers during the day. Should you need to make a call, we are happy to help in the main office. What’s for lunch??
